So, you've got your trip to San Diego all set, but you're still trying to come up with fun things to do. Have no fear. Today, I'll give you six awesome ideas for your San Diego trip.

The Big Bay

You can't go to San Diego and miss this one. The Big Bay is billed as San Diego's largest attraction. It spans more than 27 miles of waterfront. It truly is fun for all ages.

The best part is you can walk along The Big Bay at no charge. Just have fun and relax. If you're up for a little more, the area offers hundreds of shops and restaurants. There are miles and miles of bikeways, parks and promenades.

Old Town

Want to enjoy a piece of history? Visit Old Town and soak up some San Diego history. You can wander through the old buildings for free. Be sure to check out the oldest schoolhouse in San Diego while you're there.

Fly a Kite

Seem strange? The weather in San Diego is beautiful. Take advantage of it by heading off to Tecolote Shores of Mission Bay Park.

If you don't have a kite, odds are, you'll find others flying them here.

Hike at Mt. Laguna

If you're willing to drive about an hour from San Diego, you can enjoy the scenery at Mt. Laguna.

The fresh mountain air will fill your lungs as you enjoy a great hike.

Gaslamp Quarter

This 16.5 block piece of real estate in the historic area of downtown San Diego heats up at night. You've never seen so many people descend to one area so quickly.

The Gaslamp Quarter has many great restaurants, art galleries, smaller nightclubs and other boutiques.

Balboa Park

Featuring Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, Balboa Park is a great place to take the family. It's home to over 15 museums.

There are free daily park tours and on some days certain museums are free to the public.
